Is Duskfade available on Steam?

Yes. Duskfade launched for Windows on August 13, 2026. The US Steam price was $29.99 as of August 31; the earlier 20% introductory discount has ended. Regional pricing and later promotions may change the checkout total.

Steam lists Windows only. macOS and native Linux releases are not advertised. Deck play uses Valve’s Linux compatibility environment rather than a native Linux build supplied by the developer.

Steam’s purchase-only review API reported 807 reviews: 737 positive and 70 negative on September 20, 2026. The store classification remained Very Positive. This is a dated snapshot, not a permanent rating, and it must not be combined with old demo reviews or reviews from keys activated outside Steam purchases.

What happened to the Steam demo?

The former standalone demo app, ID 4023080, currently returns success: false through Steam’s app-details API. The full paid game is unaffected, but an old demo URL should not be presented as a working download. Free demos are currently listed on PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2.

How to decide whether the Steam version fits

Choose Steam if your PC meets the requirements, you value Deck portability or Steam Cloud, and you do not need console-specific features such as DualSense trigger effects. Check the current regional price, compare your GPU with the table, and watch a Deck test if handheld performance is central to the purchase.
